Cats Eating Cornflakes is still alive, just about. Life has a tendency to get in the way, and sometimes I struggle to get things to "click" musically. I'll potter for a bit, but it doesn't feel right, so then I abandon what I'm working on. I released a new track in November. It's not my favourite thing in the world, but sometimes I'm of a mind where I think I just need to make something and get it out there. And you know what, maybe it isn't all that bad. We are our own worst critics, after all.

So what does the future hold? Well, I am about to start work on a new track. Maybe it'll go well, maybe I'll not be feeling it, but I'll at least give it a go. I've been a bit lax at keeping the website up to date - I didn't do a news post when I released a track in June of 2023, and I didn't add the November single to my discography page. I've done that now, though! Actually, checking back, I didn't do news posts for 3 singles (including the November one), and didn't post about the fact those singles all had music videos. Ah well, that's how it goes when you are doing everything yourself. The main thing is that the singles got published where they needed to be. 

I guess my plans, longer term, are just to make music as and when I feel like it. I meant to record some audio from my trip to Tokyo, Japan, in November 2019, but I completely forgot. Whoops. I'll have to wait until the next trip in 2025 before I can do that. I thought it'd be neat to try and capture some audio and see what I can do with it. Maybe something, maybe nothing, but it's worth a go.
